COWBOY

The other day I was looking through my old albums and I came across this picture I took a few months ago. I remember when I took it I really liked it. Sadly I got caught up editing other pictures and forgot about it. I wish I could have got a few more pictures of him but he was being shy and I could tell he was sure about getting his picture taken. I tried to edit it so that it looked like it was taken back in the day. I wanted it to feel rugged and natural. I love the look on his face, I thought it was cute how he was being so shy.

My photography website is almost ready to be shared. I am looking forward to having this blog be more of our family stuff again because it is slowly turning into just my pictures. Hopefully now that I have more time I will be able to update a few things on the girls.

Rhythm Nation

Ok so anyone who cares, this is the video of my hip hop dance. It's hard to tell who's who because we all have hats on but I'm pretty much in the front, middle the whole time. Also look for MIsty bustin her groove half way through!

The jazz one is definitely not our best performance so I'm still not sure about that one.

PHOTO SHOOT

I feel like lately I have been so busy trying to get our house thing situated and then with the dance thing there has just been a lot going on. I have been really wanting to get out and take some pictures but feel kind of guilty because there is so many other things to be done. I owe it all to Misty that this photo shoot happened. She invited me along on Monday to take some pictures of our friend Katie (who I set up with my brother and secretly with he would move here and they would fall madly in love because I love her!) Anyways I was excited to be able to go and take pictures of Katie. She is gorgeous and I seriously could have stayed out there shooting until the sun went down because it was so fun. I am sure Katie was pretty tired of it all by the end but she kept smiling for us and it was seriously the hi light of my week! The other fun thing for me is editing, I love it, and get so absorbed in it. Last night I was up until like 2:30 in the morning cuz I can't get enough! Hope you enjoy!

GRANDMA G'S VISIT

About a week ago Grandma G came into town to visit for a few day's and to help us get more boxes unpacked and organized. She helped so much with the girls and it was really great having her here. We had a few beautiful day's while she was here so we took advantage of it by swimming, Sunday bbq and a few walks.


We love the big trees in our backyard they are very pretty. The only problem is it makes for a very leafy pool. Toby's fun new thing to do is get all the leaves out. It's actually kind of fun and surprisingly kind of relaxing! I wonder if I will still be saying that in a few years.;)
These girls have a love hate relationship.
Since we weren't able to be with mom on mothers day we had our own little celebration. When I asked Brooklyn what we should get Grandma for Mothers Day she didn't hesitate at all. She said, "mom, Grandma needs a crown and a locket".

This is Grandma opening her locket with pictures of Nikell and Brooklyn. Great idea Bing she loved it!

Our yard is filled with snails. Brooklyn and Nikell are fascinated with them. The other day we were cracking up because Nikki kept going up to the snail and saying, "tickle, tickle, tickle." as she would tickle it's little shell.

FOR A PICTURE OVERLOAD!
As I mentioned in my last few posts, we had our dance performance these last few day's. We had such a fun time but I have to admit its nice to be finished with it all. 2 dress rehearsals, 3 performances, dancing and getting all ready 10 times not to mention the 4 times Brooklyn had to get all ready and dance. It was a lot but it was a blast for us both. Brooklyn was so happy all week and her face would light up every time I told her we had to get ready to dance on the big stage again. It was amazing to me how excited she got. She was so happy to have her dad and sister come watch her dance on Saturday night. I loved spending so much one on one time with Bing these last few day's, I just love her to death!

After one of the recital's Brooklyn was freezing cold so I let her use my awesome jacket. She looked so cute all cuddled up in it waiting for daddy to pick her up.

This is my jazz group, I love these ladies and had so much fun dancing with them this year!

Although I love all my dance friends, I am the closest with these girls!

I know a lot of the younger girls that dance at the same place. This is Jessica and I have known her since we moved here in 2004. Toby and I used to babysit her and her brother and sister. We love their family!!

I took these pictures for my dance instructor. She is such a good dancer and is in a dance with her little girl so she wanted to get a picture of the two of them in their costumes. I would love to someday dance with my girls too!!

I do have a better video of Brooklyn's dance I will add but I'm not promising any videos of mine yet. I still need to view those myself. =)

I LOVE ROCK'N'ROLL

I have had a blast this year in dance. Last year I just did the hip hop class and I really liked it so I decided to do the jazz class this year along with hip hop. I have loved getting to know all the girls and always look forward to shaking my booty at dance every week. It is a great work out and I just really enjoy it. The recital for me is the part I don't really look forward to. I would rather just sit back relax and watch my little girl dance but I do have to say I had a lot of fun with my jazz dance on dress rehearsal. I mean really who wouldn't want to rock out on stage, right? Ok, maybe a lot of people but I had fun! Tonight is the opening night for the performance and we have one tonight and two performances tomorrow. It is a lot of work and there are a ton of people who come and watch so I get pretty nervous. I will be happy when this weekend is over with but for now I'm putting on a happy face.
Misty is awesome and took pictures while she was video taping. She's got talent!
