Rolling over!!

Yesterday Nikell was laying on her back on her little play gym thing. And I walked into the kitchen to grab something and when I went back to check on her she was on her stomach. I wanted to see if she would do it again so I put her on her back again and sure enough she rolled right over. She doesn't like being on her stomach very much so when she does roll over she get's pretty mad cuz she's kind of stuck there. Yea Nikell!!

Asparagus Festival!!

This weekend we went to the Asparagus Festival in Stockton. We went with our cute friends the Ballard's. It was such a beautiful day and we had so much fun! On the drive to the festival Brooklyn was getting a little fiesty in the car and when I explained to her that we were going to play with her friends Max and Dylen she got so excited. She had such a fun time running around with Dylen and she was very sad when we had to leave. The day went really well, our little Nikell did awesome she is such a quiet little thing I sometimes forget she is there.

Lately Brooklyn has started becoming more of a picky eater. If she is tired or in a bad mood it takes all we've got to get her to eat. Then when she's done she just throws her food on the floor. It get's pretty frustrating. The other day I was getting so mad, everything I gave her to eat she threw on the floor. So I decided instead of getting mad I would take a picture of her being a stinker. I am sure later when I look at these pictures I will just laugh at how funny it was. Even though right now it doesnt seem funny at all. After taking the pictures I put her right to bed cuz I couldn't deal with it anymore.

Blessing Day

Our little Nikell was blessed on March 30th. She was such an angel the whole day. We were happy to share the day with our friends and family in Utah. Everyone was so excited to meet her. We love our beautiful baby so much.

I just wanted to post these pictures because a lot of you havent seen them yet. It was a fun night, we should get together more often!!

First Haircut

Brooklyn had her first haircut. (well, sort of, I have been taking little snips at her hair since she was born. It just buggs me when there are little hair's that grow longer than the others or when they get the classic baby mullet. I guess that's what you get when you have a mom that does hair.) Anyway's this was her first full on haircut. It finally got to the point where I could even out the whole thing. It looks a lot better! She's cute anyway's but it just makes me feel better!

Brooklyn was Tagged by Dylan Ballard so here are 10 fun things about our little Bing.

1. She love hats, bows, buckets or anything she can put on her head. She gets pretty creative and it cracks us up. Not only does she have this obsesion with putting things on her head she also loves putting on my necklaces, bracelets and she will grab any bag she can find to carry around as a purse. She is a true girl.

2. Brooklyn just recently started pooping in the bath tub. She has done it probably 4 times. It would normally make me really mad but its like she doesnt mean to do it. We have figured out now that before she does it she will stand up and say "pu pu" which really means "up up" , and she starts freaking out. I hate to laugh but its so dang cute.

3. She loves stickers!! We baught her a big book of stickers thinking she would love to stick them on the fun pages that the book had. Well instead of stiking them on the page she puts them on her head, face and all over us.

4. She is the best big sister. We were afraid that because she is still so young she would have trouble being soft with Nikell. We were amazed at how much she loves holding her and giving her loves and kisses. She hasn't ever been to rough with her at all. What a sweet little girl she is! We even find little toys laying on Nikell that Brooklyn wanted to share.

5. She has learned a little bit of sign language. It is fun seeing her actually use it when she wants or needs something. I love watching her little hands sign "more" or "eat" it's too cute!

6. Her favorite thing to do when we are outside playing is pick up rock's and put them in her mouth. While we were in Moab Toby noticed that she was eating something so he asked her to open her mouth and sure enough she had been chewing on, not just one rock but a whole mound of dirt. So gross!!

7. Since Brooklyn was small she has just loved people. She is very friendly to almost anyone. It's her favorite thing to have friends over or go somewhere elce to play.

8. She is starting to talk so well now. She can say "book", "sock", "sissy", "night night" and of course "rock". I can tell that she really has a desire to talk. She gabbers on and on. I wish I new what she was trying to say.

9. She is such a big helper when we are trying to clean up or even if we aren't. The other day she grabbed a pile of pretty important papers that where on the counter, (which she can now reach) And I saw her walk over to the garbage, open it up and throw it away. I didn't even know she knew where the garbage was.

10. Our litlle bing has the softest heart. I can tell that she loves toby and I so much. It makes me so happy when she comes over just to give me a hug and kiss. She will lay her head down on Toby's shoulder and pat his back for a few minutes and he just mealts. She most definatly has her daddy wrapped around her finger. And all of us for that matter.

What we have been up to

So I am excited to keep in touch better with my cute friends that I don't see very often. I am feeling bad about not being a better friend. From the sound of things it seems as though a lot of you didn't even know that I had two kid's and lived in California. So hopefully you all will forgive me and I promise to stay on top of things.

Toby and I moved to California in 2005. Toby got a great job that we really didnt want to pass up. We alway's said that we would move out of state if the right thing came up, and it did. His job is kind of hard to explain.. Basically he sell's Orthapedic implants. He loves his job and for the most part I do to. It is hard at times because he deals with trauma so he is on call all of the time pretty much. Lately it has been worse, but him and his partner will soon have an assistant and that will help a lot.

After living in an apartment for 6 months we baught a condo in a hurry. Prices were getting so high and we were afraid we wouldn't aford anything if we waited to long. Unfortunatly right after we moved in the housing market did a nose dive. We werent to concerned because we thought we would be there for a while. But, I soon got pregnant and Toby started doing a little better so we decided to buy a house. So because we had lost some on our condo, we decided to hold on to it and just rent it out. So thats what we did. We found a great home in Escalon and have been here now for a little over a year.

We had our first little girl in Sep o6. Brooklyn has been so much fun she is a little angel. When she was just 6 months old I found out I was pregnant again. I have to say I wasn't very happy, infact I cried for 3 day's straight. After it sunk in a little we actually ended up being very very happy. We were excited to have our first two so close in age. We now have our sweet, 2 month old baby, Nikell and our 19 month todler, Brooklyn. Who by the way is so dang cute with her little sister.

It's hard to believe that in just three short years we have come so far. We are going to have to slow down I don't want to be 30 with 6 kid's.

Ok so I am finally going to try to figure this out. I have had a lot of people get me to set this up for a long time. So here goes...

We went to Utah to bless our little Nikell last week and we spent some time in Moab with our family. Here is a shot we took while we were there.
