SUCH A FUN NIGHT!

For our anniversary Toby pretty much spoiled me! When I woke up in the morning I noticed little notes all over the house with cute messages on them. Then he made me a really yummy breakfast and later on got me some gorgeous flowers. That evening Toby pulled up at our house to pick me up for our date in a harley. It was such a fun surprise. When we lived in Utah we used take Toby's dad's motorbike for rides every once in awhile. We alway's had a great time and it has been a while since we have been for a ride. It was a such a fun night! We went for a little ride on the bike and then we went to dinner at a new place in Oakdale called "Cool Hand Lukes." They had really yummy food and I am sure we will defenatly go back again! Toby and I alway's have such a fun time together. I am just crazy about him and love the fact that he made our anniversary so special. Thanks babe!

Toby took Brooklyn for a ride today around our neighborhood. She loved it!

It is crazy to think that 5 years ago today Toby and I were getting married. What a beautiful day it was in good old Highland, Utah. I remember waking up at like 5 in the morning so I would be able to get all ready without being crunched on time. I remember getting my hair done at the salon I worked at and having the butterflies the whole time. I remember driving to the Mt. Timpanogos Temple with my parents and getting all ready in the brides room with my mom. Then finally I was able to see Toby, he looked hot as ever. I do remember though waiting for him to finish getting ready. (he takes his time, even to this day.) Walking to the sealing room I remember feeling so many emotions. Nervous, excited, anxious and most of all happier than I'd ever been in my life!
Walking into the sealing room and seeing our loved ones there with smiles on their faces was incredible. I just remember trying to take everything in. After we were married we went to the North Hampton House to have our luncheon. The food was great and it was fun having all of our friends and family there.
We had our reception in Alpine, Utah in our good friends backyard. It was a gorgeous night and the weather could'nt have been more perfect. I remember at the end of the night dancing with my dad to the song"Butterfly Kisses", that is a moment I will never forget! We left the reception pretty late and I remember Toby and I being starving. Its funny that we had all this yummy food at the reception but we didnt have any time to eat it. So when we got to our hotel we ordered pizza.
There are certain things about that day that I wish I could remember better. I just know that it truely was a magical day and I will never forget the feelings that I fealt and the joy in my heart knowing I was marrying the man of my dreams.
Happy Anniversary my babe! I love you!

FUN STUFF

First of all the most exciting news... little Nikell started crawling today!!! She seems to little to be crawling, but I have to say it is so dang cute! I wish I could get the movie thing to work because you really have to see it in person. (Any help there would be appreciated.)

Toby had the weekend off and instead of going somewhere like we have been doing a lot. We decided to just take it easy this weekend. Brittney came and watched the girls last night while Toby and I went to a movie. We saw House Bunny and I am a little embarassed to say that I have now seen it twice. I don't know about the rest of you but I think it is so dang funny! I went the first time with Misty and we loved it! (Atleast I think she did. Mist didn't you cry at one point?? lol, just kidding.) Anyway, Then today Toby took Bing to gymnastics and we got some things done around the house and later on we decided to go to the circus. Our friends went and loved it, so we thought it might be fun.
Brooklyn loved, loved, loved the circus. All day she was saying "Animals" over and over. Then on the way there she was like "Animals, er are oo?" (Where are you) And then when the circus started she was in heaven. When the elephants came out she seriously got so excited she was dancing and waving and blowing kisses. Everytime the animals would leave the stage she would start to cry. I had to keep telling her that they would come back. Then on the way home she was such a chatter box. She kept saying all of the animals she saw and all of the noises they make. It was hillarious!! Then in her prayer tonight she said thanks for the animals.
Nikell loved the circus too. She just stared the whole entire time and towards the end she fell asleep on my shoulder. She is such a good baby! Alway's so happy! Great job little one for crawling today!!!

I think the guy who goes in with the tigers is crazy. We were just waiting for him to get chomped on.

Mist I stole some pictures from you. My camera didn't take very good pictures.
Brooklyn loved the horses so much!

The elephants were adorable, they even had a little baby one.
This was pretty intense, They had 7 motorbikers riding around in this thing at the same time. Pretty awesome!

Its always fun to try new cute things with Brooklyns hair. Im lovin the braid!

EXTENTIONS

Last week Brittney came over and we put her extentions in. It usually takes about 4 to 5 hrs but I was pleasantly surprised that I have gotten quicker and it took a little over 3 hours. She looks so cute with her new hair and I have loved seeing all the fun things she has done with it. She is adorable anyway but it is a fun change.

BING AND HER BINK

Brooklyn has been atatched to her binki almost from the day she was born. I remember when she was first born Toby and I always sticking that binki in her mouth cuz it fell out so much. It was kind of a pain at first but when she got the hang of things it was pretty nice. When she got a little older we would only give it to her at bedtime/naptime or when we were in the car. She really grew attatched to her bink bink and we always new the day would come when we would have to take it away.
When Nikell was born we thought maybe we would take it then but it wasn't the best timing with just having a newborn and all. Well these last few weeks Brooklyn has been asking for her bink bink more and more so Toby and I decided she was getting to old for it and it was time to get rid of it. So two day's ago when Brooklyn went down for her nap we took all the binkis in the house and threw them away. (We didnt want them around at all so that we wouldnt be tempted to give in.) When she layed down of course she asked for it. I just explained to her that we werent going to have the binki anymore. I gave her a little pink bunny and told her this was her binki bunny and whenever she wanted her binki all she needed to do was hold on to the bunny really tight and it would make her feel better. She wasn't very happy and she cried for a few minutes but she went to sleep and it's been smooth sailing since then. She still asks for it but usually only one time. I just remind her and she doesn't say another word about it. YEAH!!! I am pretty sure I was expecting it to be much worse and it actually ended up being pretty easy. Our baby isn't a baby anymore, sniff sniff.

FUN FRIENDS AND YUMMY FOOD!

This new restaurant just opened in Modesto called Bj's. We decided to go for family night with Misty, Ryan Dylen and Max. We had such a good time not to mention the food was fantastic! I am pretty excited to have a yummy place to eat out here cuz I feel like good old Modesto Califoria is lacking in the restaurant area.

After dinner the kid's ran around outside for a minute. It was a beautiful night I seriously love this time of year. Its the perfect temperature and it always smells so nice. And I have to say it gets me pretty excited for Halloween, one of my favorite holidays.

SOME OF NIKELL'S FIRSTS!

Our little Nikell is getting so big. I tell her everyday that she needs to stop growing so fast. I swear she is always learning something new. We started feeding her in the big high chair and she loves it. Before we would just set her in the bouncer but now she turns around in it and tries to scoot out. So I guess we are done with that. She is so fascinated with everything her head is alway's turning every which way trying to see what's going on. Lately she never wants to sit still.

This month she started sitting up, doing the little scoot around the floor thing, getting up on all fours and now today she actually took a full on crawl forward. She seems so excited to get her hands on everything! I think I am in big trouble in the next few months. She is probably going to want to explore everything, (by that I mean tear the house apart.)

I know that everyone say's every child is different but you don't realize it until you actually see it for yourself. Brooklyn did all of these things really slowly. She wasnt even scooting across the floor until she was 9 months. Nikell is 7 and she is almost crawling. Every stage is really so fun and I love my little squeaker so dang much! She puts a big smile on all of our faces!

I love this picture, she looks like a little mouse!
What a big girl, holding her own bottle!

She is getting pretty good at picking puffs up and putting them in her mouth herself.

BROOKLYN LOVES HER LITTLE SIS!

This is mostly just for our journal. I just don't want to forget how cute Brooklyn is with Nikell right now. I started feeding Nikell those little puffs that desolve quickly so she can learn to eat solid foods. She loves them so much and gets so excited when I break them out. Well Brooklyn loves them too and whenever I am feeding them to Nikell I alway's give her some. The other day I was sitting with both of my girls and I would feed one to Nikki then one to Bing (well, more like 2 or 3 to Bing since she eats them faster) Anyways it was going on like this for a minute until Brooklyn wanted to share her puff with Nikell. So after she had already put it in her mouth she took it out soggy and all and said " hear go sis" and she put it in Nikell's mouth. It was pretty gross but so cute so I couldn't stop her. So now every time we are eating puffs Brooklyn eats one and then gives one to Nikell and every time she say's " hear go sis". Sometimes she forgets to feed one to sis but remembers after it's already in her mouth, she tries to take it out to give it to her but I alway's stop her and explain to her that she can eat that one and give sissy a new one so that we don't spread germs. So funny!! Nikell loves the attention she get's from Brooklyn her face lights up whenever she is around. We have some pretty sweet girl's.

NIKELL 7 MONTHS, BROOKLYN 2 YEARS

I took the girl's to get their pictures taken this week and they both did a really good job. I decided to take them seperatly so that I wouldn't be so stressed out this time. I'm really glad I did because it was a much more enjoyable experiance than last time.
Brooklyn was first and I took her on Monday. She did such a good job. I know it's not the best thing but I totally bribed her with jelly bellies. I am so glad I had them too. Because she was showing signs of being pretty fiesty. She is cutting a tooth right now and I swear she has been more fiesty than normal. She really is a sweet heart most the time though and she did a great job of smiling for the camera.
On Tuesday I took Nikell and she was so sweet the whole time. We got one smile out of her but I think she was just wondering what the heck was going on. There were three of us in there trying to get her to smile but she just really didn't want too. She was so good though and she didn't cry once. I am so blessed, Nikell really is such a sweet little thing. She is alway's just so content and happy.

The scanner was having troubles so I couldn't put all the pictures on here. But that's ok you get the idea.

So, I am new at the whole scanning thing so sorry these are a little jacked up.

NIGHT OUT WITH MY BABE

This weekend Toby had to go out to San Fransisco for a doctor's training course that his company puts together a couple times a year. I have gone with him before for another one in San Fran and one in Nappa. I even met him down in San Diego one time with some friends. It's always a lot of fun to spend the evenings together when he isn't working or with doctors. And during the day it's nice to be able to shop, get a pedicure or just relax.
This time though, we didn't think it would be possible for me to go because we have two babies and it would probably be harder work then it would be worth. Toby braught up the idea of maybe getting some friends to watch the kid's over night so we could have a little time together alone. As much as I really wanted to go I wasnt sure that I fealt comfortable putting friends who already have their own kid's, out like that. But because it really has been so long since Toby and I have had alone time and because our 5 year anniversary is coming up and we didnt think we would have another chance to get away, I called two of my friends just to see what they thought about the whole thing.
All I have to say is I have the best friends in the whole world. Misty and Loralee were seriously so awesome when I called them. Misty was right away excited about having Brooklyn over for a little sleep over. And Loralee pretty much made me make the decision to go even when I told her I still wasn't sure. She said "Tami, your going and I don't want to hear another thing about it. The decision is already made, get Toby on the phone...." What can I say my friends really are the greatest and it really shows me how much they love me when they support me like they do.
I know I am kind of a baby but it really is hard for me to ask people for help. It might be because I havent ever had family around to help it's always just been Toby and I. So I am so used to doing everything with just him.
So the day I was supposed to leave I almost backed out and I was actually in the middle of texting Misty to tell her not to worry about it when I suddenly got a text from her saying, "Dylen is so excited to have Brooklyn sleep over." I really am so blessed to have such wonderful friends. They really are my family away from home. Thanks Mist and Loralee I love you guys!!

Toby and I had such an awesome time together. We went to a Giants baseball game that night and it was so nice just to be able to really enjoy each other without any distractions. My husband really is so dang cute and he makes me laugh so much! I love being able to do things together that we both really enjoy. I really just didnt want the night to end. After the game Toby got us a limo to take back to the hotel. I was so excited cuz I have never been in a limo before. It is kind of funny to watch people look at you while you drive by.
The next day Toby had to work pretty much the whole time but I was in heaven. The hotel is located right in the middle of union square right where all the incredible shopping is. Seriously, it's any girl's heaven right there. I also was able to get a pedicure and have lunch at a thai place that is actually in the hotel we stayed at.
It was a lot of fun but I was very anxious to get home to releave my friends from my children. Even though they are the sweetest babies I know it's always different when it isn't your own kid, Ya know?? (Brooklyn can be a little fiesty sometimes.) Later on that night I was putting Brooklyn to bed and she was asking for Max and Dylen. I think she really wanted them there to have another sleep over. She had such a good time and it is so nice that she feels so comfortable with Misty and her family.

The view from outside our hotel room window. We were on the 17th floor with huge windows all around. It was gorgeous but a little scary. We had an earthquake that night but it was small and we barely noticed.

Giants vs Pirates (we lost:()
In the limo on the way back to the hotel. It was a first for me and it was a lot of fun.

Thanks babe for hanging out with me for the night. I love your guts!!!

PUMP IT UP AND CAMPFIRE

I am a little behind on my posts because I havent had much time. A few day's ago Brooklyn, Nikell and I met our good friends at this place called Pump it up, that just opened up near our home. We had such a good time. It was a lot of fun to hang out with my friends. And the girl's loved all the fun thing's that they had there to play on.

Brooklyn and Abby

Mimi playing with Nikell and Kaiya. These two sweet babies are only 3 day's apart.

Abby, Brooklyn, Addison, Jaydin and Jaydin's cousin.

Later that evening we went to a lake near our home and built a fire and had hot dog's and s'mores with our friends Misty and Ryan. It was so much fun. It really made me miss being home and going up American Fork canyon to camp and have a fire with friends. It is definatly something we will do more often now that I'm not pregnant anymore. And I have more energy. Brooklyn and Nikell both loved it. We braught along our dog Bailey. Brooklyn had so much fun watching Bailey swim in the lake. It was such a nice evening and we even got in a little frisbe.

I love love love these pictures of Max!!! He is such a little cutie.
