My Babe playing ball
Toby joined a softball league with some of his friends in our ward. In the summer the girls came with me to watch him play. I love watching my man out there strutting his stuff. It reminds me of back in the day when we were dating and he played on a league with his friends. I used to go and cheer for him back then. It's crazy how life has changed since then and how now it's not just me cheering for him but three little girls that adore their daddy. I love this man so much and have loved our years together and the bond that we have made. He is more of a hottie now and I still get giddy when I see his hot face! Love him!!
End of the swim season
Most of the summer for Presly at swim was crying, crying and more crying. Not because she doesn't like to swim but because she is a complete mommy's girl. She loves water, she loves going under the water but what she doesn't like is me handing her off to Barbara. We tried so many things to get her to be happy. We tried the girls swimming with her, Erika getting in the pool with her, me leaving during her lesson and finally Barbara told Presly that mommy would stay to watch her swim if she would be happy. That's what worked. I can't even believe she understood what Barbara said but whatever it was from there on out she was a happy swim girl. She did great those last few weeks. I'm hoping she wont revert back next summer since there is a 4 month break. She swims so great and loves to go under the water. Barbara took her picture under the water and it was so cute to see her little eyes opened and her tongue sticking out. She is adorable and I love this age. Even with all the crying;)
Let Freedom Ring
One of my very favorite things about the 4th of July is the party we have at our house. Every year for the past 4 years we have had a bbq/swim party at our house until it gets dark and then we go watch the Ripon fireworks. The party doesn't stop there because we go to our house after and have our own fireworks show put on by Toby. It's always good times especially when the sprinklers turn on while we are relaxing on the grass. yes, that happened! We love our home out here in California and we are so blessed to have some of the best friends ever. Our kids have so much fun with their friends and I am so glad they get to grow up with such a great group of kids.
