Last Day

Our last day finally came. In the morning we packed up and checked out of our hotel and then we went to the beach and rented snorkel gear again. Toby spent more time in the water because I was still trying to finish the book I brought, "water for elephants". We had an ok time, Toby was enjoying the snorkeling as much as the day before. So, after only about an hour we took the snorkel stuff back and went shopping. Toby was a good sport and humored me while I went to some fun stores like "Tiffany's". I then went back to the spa and had a pedicure while he went to check out another beach that he wanted to see. After we got back together we drove up to a restaurant called "Mama's Fishhouse", not only was it so dang good but the view was unbelievable. It was right on the beach with these beautiful palm trees everywhere. Our table was in the perfect spot overlooking the view. We had such a good dinner and then it was off to the airport. We got to the airport a few hours early which turned out to be a good thing. Our flight got cancelled and if we hadn't have gotten there so early we would have had to stay one more night and miss mothers day at home with the girls. Luckily there was one flight out to LA so we were so happy that we were able to get home even though we had a layover and we wouldn't get home as early. The red eye flight stunk pretty bad. Sleeping for me just was not working. My back really started to act up and I was a little bit done! After getting to San Fransisco we then had to drive 2 hours home. My back had really had it but we were more then happy to finally be home and see our girls!!!! We missed them so much and it was such a nice relaxing mothers day for me just being with them again!!! Yeah for Maui, I want to go back so bad but this time with my kids!!!!!!!!!!!

Snorkeling

The next day was still really windy and cold so our snorkel trip was cancelled. So... Toby and I decided to drive to the other side of the island and check things out over there. Before going on our trip it was hard for us to decide which side to stay on. We were thinking about staying at the Westin so we thought we would go see if we made a good choice or a bad one. We parked by some shops and walked around the shops a little, we checked out the westin and to be honest both sides of the island seem really cool and a lot the same. So, we were happy about were we stayed which is good. Then we went to the beach and rented snorkel gear and beach chairs and we had our own snorkel trip. It was SOOOOO fun! I had a board that you can lay on and see through the water and Toby held on to it and snorkeled next to me. We would switch every once in a while and we seriously had a blast. We even saw a turtle! After hanging out in the ocean for about an hour or so we laid on our chairs and took a little nap. It wasn't raining at all but was just a little overcast which made the heat Bearable. After that we had a really, really yummy lunch went shopping a little and then drove the other way around back to our side. The drive was gorgeous and a little scary. The road was so narrow and we were up on a cliff. It was so cool! While we were up there we saw this cute white house that was turned into a boutique. We went inside and I fell in love! It was the cutest shop EVER. We bought a some really cool things there!
When we got back we hurried and got ready to go spend the evening at this magic show. It was a fun evening and definitely one we wont forget!

Rainy Day

The next day for us was a little bit rainy but we still had a lot of fun. We went up the road a little ways and walked around a little town and had breakfast. Then we walked along the beach for a little while and played in just a little. Then we drove up to a place that has some really great shopping and Toby sucked it up while we shopped a little. We got some really cute dresses for the girls and then we bought some warmer clothes for us to wear because by that time it was dumping rain and we were pretty cold in our wet swimming suites. After shopping we had planned to do a zipline up in the tree tops but we were afraid it would be raining to hard. When we got up there the guys that were going to take us gave us the option of going still. They said everyone else cancelled but if we still wanted to go then we could. We decided it would still be fun to go and especially because we were the only ones there. We had a blast! This was seriously one of the funnest things we did in Hawaii, or ever for that matter. It was rainy and windy but it made it even more fun. The guys we were with were really cool and they were happy that it went so fast because there was only two of us. Seriously something we will do again someday, we loved it! That night we went to a luau and had a really fun night. It was a fun day!
