Kindergarten birthday party

Nikell's birthday was on a saturday this year so Ms. Huff had her little birthday celebration the day before her birthday. Nikell decided she wanted purple rockstar cupcakes to share with her class. Purple is her favorite color these day's and so she was very specific about what she wanted. She loved having her little party at school and was so sweet and smiley the whole time. I love being in her class room with her and love watching her interact with her friends. Nikell is such a sweet heart and she has such a happy personality. I'm so grateful for her sweet little self!!

Birthday Surprise!

We recently had an American Girl Doll store open in San Francisco. Brooklyn and Nikell have been loving their American Girl Dolls lately so for Nikell's birthday we thought we would do something sorta special. One of Nikell's best friends, Kaiya, has her birthday only a week before Nikell's birthday. So we planned a deluxe birthday party at the American Girl doll store. We didn't tell either one of them and on the day of the party we checked all the girls out of school before lunch time and we took them to Mc Donald's for lunch. When I picked Brooklyn and Nikell up from school they were both so confused and had no idea what was going on. I told them we had a big surprise and they tried to guess what we were going to do. It was so fun seeing their excitement! When we got to Mc Donalds and we met up with Kaiya and Jaydin the girls all flipped out. We went inside and we gave Kaiya and Nikell a present with matching outfits inside and we gave them each a birthday invitation telling them where we were going. They were so excited and it was such a fun surprise! When we got out to the American Girl doll store we shopped for about an hour and Nikell picked out her birthday presant and Brooklyn got some stuff that she wanted to earn at home from our family store. We then had our little private party at the bistro and it was magical. The girls were really in heaven! Such a fun day with great friends. Presly stayed home with our babysitter, we missed her tons and look forward to when she will be old enough to come too!
