Six Flags Discovery Kingdom

While my sister and her family were here we decided to head out to six flags.  Toby had to work so he couldn't join us which was a bummer but we still had a great day the weather turned out to be just perfect and everyone had a blast.  The girls usually love the dolphins the most but I have to say we thought the sea lions show was so good.  It was very entertaining and the girls thought the little sea lions and otters were so cute.  Brooklyn is determined to swim with dolphins some day she really wants to be a dolphin trainer when she grows up.  Nikell loves animals but is still set on being a real ballerina someday.
We stayed at six flags until it closed and we got home pretty late.  When I went upstairs to put a few things away I went to check on the girls.  When I walked into Brooklyn and Nikell's room I smelled a really nasty smell.  I walked closer to Nikell and noticed that she was asleep but that she had thrown up all over herself.  Poor thing was so tired that she must have thrown up in her sleep or something.  She was sick the whole next day and I felt so sad for her.  Luckily no one else in the family got it but it was so sad for her!  I always am the one that has to deal with cleaning up throw up at our house.  The one time that Toby tried to hold Brooklyn's hair back as she threw up in the toilette I saw him start to gag and dry heave and I had to take over while he ran to the bathroom himself.  lol he can't handle the smell at all poor guy.  Actually, poor me because I'm stuck to deal with it everytime;).

Easter Sunday

We had my sister Shannon and her family out to visit over Easter. I loved having them there! The night before Easter my sister and I helped the Easter bunny with the decorating of the Easter baskets and we had a great time just talking and laughing, spending time together. I love my sister and think she is such a strong person. She has been through so much and she is such an amazing woman and mother. I feel like our relationship has changed over the past few years. I feel like she is one of my best friends and I love spending time with her! On Easter we did all our regular traditions. We went to church, came home and decorated sugar cookies, then we colored eggs and had a little Easter egg hunt. We topped it all off with a yummy Easter dinner all together. It was a lot of fun and we got it all in even with Toby being on call and it being a little stormy outside, we improvised!
