PAST FEW WEEKS

It has been a while since my last post. I haven't been very excited to post pictures because my camera isn't working very well. All the pictures are really blurry. So we sent our camera in to get fixed and I have been looking forward to getting our new camera. THANKS for every one's input and advise. It really helped us in making our decision. Last night I picked up our new camera and I haven't put it down since. I LOVE IT! We ended up getting the Canon Rebel xs. All the camera's that all you cute friends told me about were really great cameras and it was a really hard decision. All in all we just really got a great deal from a friend that works at Best Buy.
So these are a few of the things we have been up too. Sorry that the pictures are so blurry!:(


Toby is so sweet! A couple of weeks ago he surprised me with the most beautiful flowers. I love having fresh flowers in the house and Toby always gets them for me at the most unexpected times. I just wish they would last longer! Thanks again babe you are so thoughtful!
This is Brooklyn's potty chart all complete! I can't believe how big she is getting. She was so proud of herself for being a big girl.
This is Toby and Stanley at the Kings game. For those of you who are confused about who Stanley is just go to the next post and it will explain why he is in some of our pictures.

We went to the home show in Sacramento. It was fun but a little overwhelming. We are looking to get hard wood floor in our house so we thought it would help. All it did was confuse us more. Information overload!
Nikell started to stand up on her own. In this picture Brooklyn is holding her hand so you cant tell. But it is so cute she just does a little squat and then slowly stands up. Then when she is up she starts to clap her hands in excitement.

SAN FRANSISCO

Toby had this weekend off so we decided to make the best of it and drive out to San Fransisco. We thought it would be fun to check out the San Fransisco Zoo. Wow, we had the best weather and the girl's where so awesome, they loved it! We even were able to make it out to the beach to watch the sunset. It was so beautiful, I don't think I have ever seen waves that big. We saw a ton of surfers out in the water which was pretty cool. Also, we had a little friend come with us on the trip. Our little niece Taitum sent us Flat Stanley. To help her out with her class project we dressed him up and brought him along with us.

I told Brooklyn to go stand by the Gorilla and she was so nervous. She walke towards it really slowly and then when she turned around to look at us she kept looking over her shoulder at it to make sure it wasnt going to move.

Brooklyns favorite animal that she saw was the Giraffe. She was pretty excited when she saw them.

They had a little park at the zoo and Brooklyn found a little friend.

The beach is right outside of the zoo so we were able to hang out and watch the sun go down. It was beautiful.

SQUEAKER

I have just been thinking the last few day's about our little Nikell. She will be turning 1 in just a few weeks and I am amazed at how fast the year went by. Nikell was sent to us at a perfect time and she is such a blessing to us all. Here are just a few thing's that we love about our sweet Nikell.

-Since she was born she has had a raspy little cry and it has turned into the cutest little raspy voice. This is why we call her squeaker. She also has a few other nicknames, Nikki, Kell and Sissy.
-We noticed when she started to smile that she has a little dimple. It really is so cute!
-Nikell has always been such a sweet and content baby. She hasn't ever cried very much she is such a happy baby.
-She sucks her two middle fingers just like I did when I was a baby. We think it is pretty dang cute.
-Ever since she has been old enough to watch whats going on she has adored Brooklyn. She follows her everywhere and laughs every time she comes in the room.
-When she got a little older she started to show her little feisty side. Sometimes when she is not to happy she tightens her fists and shakes her whole body. It's funny now but let's just hope it doesn't turn into a full on tantrum when she is older.
-When she knows she is doing something she isn't suppose to she looks at us and smiles right before she does it. Little stinker.
-She like to pull Brooklyn's hair.
-Another favorite thing for her to do is poke at our eyes. I think she is just trying to figure things out.
I could go on and on she has been doing so many fun things these last few months like waving bye bye and clapping her hands. She even said her first words, (Night, Night). We are excited to see how her personality will form this next year. She is such an angel and we are so happy that she is part of our family. We love you kell.

TURBO JAM

Anyone looking for a fun and kick butt work out order turbo jam!! I love it! Seriously so glad that I got it I get super excited to work out now.

NOT SO BAD

I was so not looking forward to potty training. Brooklyn has been showing interest in it for a couple of months now. I was holding off as long as I could because I didn't feel like I had the energy to tackle it. Well I don't know what I was so afraid of. After two day's of strict potty training she is completely good to go. She has been accident free for two day's and she comes and tells me every time that she needs to go. I am so glad that she has done so well!

For any of you looking for a good potty we have loved ours. It sings songs and it can tell when your child goes to the bathroom it has like sensors or something. Also, it has stickers inside the tank part and all you do is turn this knob and the stickers come out. Brooklyn loves getting stickers to put on her sticker chart (that also comes with it). Anyways, yea for Brooklyn and yea for awesome singing potty chair!
