Christmas

Toby and I were surprised Christmas morning that Brooklyn didn't wake us up at 6:00 in the morning. The girls woke up at 7:30 which was really nice! They waited in their room until we got up and Toby put his contacts in, we tried to hurry since we knew they were really excited. I remember when I was a little girl, waiting for my parents to get ready was pure torture. I was always so excited to see what Santa brought that I felt like waiting any longer would probably kill me. The girls sat on the stairs while I took their picture and we said a prayer, then they were off running down the stairs.
Santa did good this year and the girls were so excited about everything they got. The first thing they saw was their scooters, this was probably their favorite present. They rolled around the house on those all day long. They loved the way the wheels lit up when they went fast. A few of the other exciting things they got were...
Brooklyn, a lap harp, nail polish set and a ton of clothes. Nikell, a remote control dog that she can take for walks, some games, The Lion King and a ton of clothes. Santa got me some cute uggs and Santa got Toby and Ipad (that he still hasn't opened) hmm maybe he didn't really want that?
Christmas was on a Sunday so after we opened our presents we got all ready for church. The girls looked darling in their Christmas dresses. I loved being able to go to church on Christmas it made the day that much more special! When we got home we had german pancakes and bacon for breakfast. The rest of the day was spent playing with toys and talking to family on the phone. We missed being with our family but had a nice relaxing Christmas day.

My mom made these darling night gowns for the girls and they LOVE them. They spin and spin around because they love the way the bottom comes out when they turn. Thanks mom!
