New Years Eve

We had a really fun New Years Eve. We loved having people over to share it with. Our family was still here and then we invited our awesome friends Matt and Megan over with their darling girls Kaiya and Jaydin. We had some yummy food, we had a fire and roasted marshmallows and made s'mores, later in the evening was hot tubing and then watching the ball drop.

Matt and Megan had to leave at about 8:30 so we had an early countdown for the little girls. They thought it was the real thing and were so excited! They went outside and tossed confetti on the ground and then came inside with their spoons and made lots of noise. It was pretty funny to see their faces so excited even though really they had no idea what really was going on. So cute.

Toby was on call and had to go into work right before we had dinner and our fire. Luckily his dad was here and cooked the tri-tip and started the fire for us. It's hard sometimes dealing with Toby's crazy job. We were very happy that he was able to come home in time for hot tubbing and for the all to drop. He works so hard and we love him so much!!
