3 YEARS OLD!

Brooklyn turned 3 years old on Wed Sep 2. I told her she has to stop growing because she is getting so big and I want her to be my baby forever. She told me no and that she wanted to be a big girl. I guess all I can do is hold on to every single moment and cherish these young years because they go by so fast!
The night before Brooklyn's birthday I asked her what she wanted for breakfast in the morning. I told her she could choose anything she wanted. She told me she wanted cake so I asked her if a donut would be ok. She said that would be ok if it had sprinkles on it. So for breakfast she got a donut with sprinkles on her favorite pink plate with her favorite pink cup and a straw so she could blow bubbles in her milk. She was very happy about all of this and had a smile for us all morning. We then told her there was a surprise hidden in the house somewhere but she had to go look for it. She looked for a few minutes and finally found her present in the living room. She has been asking for a bike for months now and was very excited to get her very own.
Brooklyn opened a few more presents and then we headed over to swimming lessons. She had a great swim and was happy to tell Barbara that it was her special day. Then we drove Grandma to the airport in Oakland and said good bye.
Toby was really busy with work all day so later in the evening we were excited to go play with Misty, Dylen and Max. We went to Build a Bear in the mall and Brooklyn and Dylen picked out a new outfit for their bears. We then went and got dinner at hot dog on a stick. Brooklyn had a really great day and was a very happy girl!

This is my kind of breakfast! She really only had a few bites of her donut and then asked for some eggs. I guess she takes after her dad.
This is her showing us how old she is.
New bike

Brooklyns cousin, Marie got her some Polly Pockets. Her cousins, Tess
and Taitum got her some magnet dolls. She loves them both and been playing with them non stop!!
New dance clothes for Ballet that will be starting soon!

Daddy got her a cute little necklace. The box had a poem on it that reads, "A princess is sweet and charming, too. A princess is special just like you"!

Swimming lessons

Brooklyn loves her bear and sleeps with it every night. She was very excited to get her bear some clothes from build a bear!

Brooklyn got a package from Grandma Chris and Grandpa Kevin yesterday and she was so excited to have another present to open. She loves all of her books and her very own computer!
