HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Today we are enjoying our Thanksgiving Day at home with our little family. It is a little bitter sweet, we miss being in Utah with everyone but it is nice to be able to start our own traditions. We have already made our pumpkin rolls and are looking forward to Toby's yummy turkey. I am so grateful for my many blessings and hope everyone has a fabulous Thanksgiving!!

Twenty nine, yikes!

On the 16th I turned 29 and I am not really sure how I feel about it yet. I think I am ok with it but it really is the next birthday that I am afraid of. Aside from the getting older part of my birthday I really had a great day! I really am blessed with the best friends and family in the world, I seriously am! I got so many messages and calls and gifts and I just really, really felt special!!

My husband really deserves an award for being so good to me. He always makes my birthday so awesome and goes out of his way to makes me so happy! When I woke up on my birthday Toby took the girls for about an hour so that I could have some alone time, so I could get ready and relax for a little while. When he got back he brought me my favorite thing these days, Starbucks, I love Starbucks hot chocolate so he got me that and a donut, my favorite thing to eat for breakfast. He then proceeded to take care of the kids and everything for that matter for most of the day and never going longer then an hour without telling me happy birthday again.:) I love him so much he makes life so fun and I am so lucky to have him! Brooklyn and Nikell had fun helping me open my presents and were very happy that it was my birthday so that they could have birthday cake;) They are so sweet and made my day perfect. Toby ended the day by taking me and Misty on a date, yes he is a very lucky man! Misty's husband had to work so Toby got to ladies for the evening. We went to sushi (my favorite) and then just Toby and I went to a movie. It was an awesome day!

Not very many people can say they got a Hanukkah card on their birthday. With my husband you can never be too sure what type of card you will get next. I think one time I got a christening card on mothers day. He is always full of surprises. You might be thinking that he just grabs the first card he see's but NO, he looks around for the perfect one. This year it was Hanukkah!

I also received some really beautiful flowers from Toby's parents and a gift from my sweet friend Lorilee.

Really random

I feel like this time of year is usually so nice and relaxing right before the busy holidays, fall is usually a time for me to just enjoy life and not be too busy. This year for some reason I feel like I have NO time for anything. I shouldn't complain too much because I really love the things I am busy with but I feel like this fall is so different then what I am used too. There are a million things I want to update on my blog that I just haven't got around too so I am hoping one of these days life will slow down just a bit so I can.

I might just be adding more and more of our family pictures as time goes on. Misty is awesome and I feel so lucky to have a friend that shares them same passion as me and not only that but she is so good at it! Love her!

I am so sad to say but we are no longer going to Utah for Thanksgiving:(. Toby can't leave work right now so it looks like we are going to have to go another time. I am thinking I might need to make a trip out just me and the girls sometime soon so that I can see all my friends that I miss so dang much!

Normally I like to be the one taking the pictures, but yesterday it was my turn in front of the camera. My super awesome, talented friend misty took our family pictures yesterday. Lost pictures found!

Last week we went to our old wards Trunk or treat party. We had fun seeing all of our old friends but when we got back and I uploaded the pictures when I went back to find them they were GONE! Luckily after doing some searching I found them, yay!
My friends and I dressed up as 80's girls. We always have a great time dressing up for Halloween, good times!

Side note- Misty the one of us four with Mel turned out really bad so I hope you have one of us four!








We also had our wards Halloween Trunk or Treat a few days later. They almost didn't have one but I am so glad they ended up doing it because it was so much fun! The kids loved it!

Dutch Hallow

Toby was out of town last week and I tried to do some things with the girls so the time went by faster. I actually really, really hate when he isn't around so we are so glad he is back home with us!!! On Friday I took the girls to the dutch hallow pumpkin patch. They loved it!
