A FEW

I just wanted to post a few pictures that I took from the Anniversary party on Saturday. These are just a few that I really enjoyed editing!!

We have been busy trying to get our new house all fixed up for us to move in. There is a lot that has to be done but we are looking forward to having it all finished up soon! I will have to take a picture of the inside right now, the carpet is ripped out in one room, their is a base board missing and the house is half painted. It is getting there though and we are really loving what is already done! I do feel a little overwhelmed with things right now and feel like crying a lot of the time because I don't do well with too many things going on at once. But hopefully this weekend I can pack more of my house and get some things done so I can relax a little.

MY HOT FRIEND

Yesterday I went with Misty to shoot a 40th wedding anniversary. We had a lot of fun together and took a lot of great shots. I'm in the process of editing them and will add a few when I'm done but at the party the guy had his old restored cars displayed out front of his home and he was nice enough to let Misty and I take some pictures in them. I think Misty wanted to take this car home with her! I love my friend and just wanted to post this picture because I love it!

EASTER EGGS

We had a really nice Easter. It was fun to just be able to relax and enjoy the entire day together as a family. Toby has been pretty busy lately so it was great having him home all day with us! The Easter Bunny left us some fun things in our Easter baskets, I was especially excited about the New Moon dvd that was left in my basket!! After watching the first session of General Conference we colored Easter Eggs and then later Toby hid the eggs and the girls had a ton of fun hunting for them! I really enjoyed the day and hope everyone had a great Easter too!

EASTER

We had a really great Easter yesterday but we really missed being with our family. Toby hasn't seen everyone in so long and we both were a little home sick. We might have to make more of an effort to get home to see family for the holiday's!

Last Sunday before church we went to this old abandoned house and I set up the tripod to take a family picture. I'm afraid it was much harder to do this then I thought it would be. I thought this one turned out cute but the others, not so much.

Happy Easter everyone!

PART 2

Brooklyn was 4 months old when we moved from our condo to this house she is now 3 years old. There have been so many memories of Brooklyn, in this home, that come to mind. Lots of playing dress up and dancing around like a princess, Jumping and flipping on our couches while watching "Olivia, Wow Wow Wubzie and various disney movies like Tinkerbell". Brooklyn has been, for the most part a non mischievous girl but their were times I would catch her getting into my makeup and when finding her she would say so proudly "look mommy isn't my makeup so beautiful". It's hard to forget the time where she fell off her barstool and split her tongue and chin open. That was a very sad thing but for the most part we have had Brooklyn has had happy times in this house of ours. I know she say's she wants to move to our new house right now but I don't think she realizes how much she will miss the home we have come so comfortable in and made so many memories. Maybe it's me who will miss it the most.

Good old Jerry Giraffe! We got him at the zoo over a year ago and not a night goes by when she doesn't have him in her bed with her.

Brooklyn was jumping on her bed while I was taking some pictures and she fell into the gap on the side of the bed. She was fine so it's ok that I laugh about it but it seriously was dang funny, she went down bottom first and her feet, head and arms were sticking up. she was stuck and couldn't get out. She got made at me for laughing at her but I couldn't help it. Too bad I didn't get that on camera!

LOVE THEM!

That's all folks, I'm feeling a little down now. It is hard to leave something you feel so comfortable with!

ALWAYS REMEMBER

I really wanted to take some pictures of the girls rooms before we moved out. It makes me sad to think about moving to another home because of all the memories that were made in this home. Brooklyn and Nikell love their rooms I really wanted to always remember them at the age they are right now in the rooms that they have grown to the ages they are now. Lots of memories, it make me so glad that I took so many pictures before now because hopefully that way it will help us remember the wonderful and sometimes not so wonderful moments we had in this home.

Nikell has lived in our home since she was born. I remember bringing her home from the hospital being a little worried about to babies in cribs and how I was going to work that out. It's amazing how fast time goes by. She is now 2 years old and is such a sweet, sometimes fiesty, little girl! I will miss her room so much, I loved decorating it!
This is the mirror I never got around to hanging.
I know this might be a little too much information for you readers but I have to write it down so sorry! Nikell went through a phase were she would poop after her nap and then she would dig in her diaper and wipe it all over her bed and the wall behind it. This happened like 3 times and was seriously the most disgusting thing in the world. Last time she did it instead of digging and wiping she just took her pants off and then her diaper and squated in the corner. Afterwords she ran to the other side of the crib and cried for daddy to come get her. So sick, yet sorta funny! (especially because that one I didn't have to clean up)! I think someone is ready to be potty trained!

Nikell LOVES her crib and her pillow. When I go in to get her up from her nap she doesn't jump right up excited to get out she lays there holding on to her pillow sucking her two little fingers. She just stares at me until I say come on lets go. I swear she would be happy being in her bed all day if we let her.

Brooklyn's pictures will be coming soon. I just love these girls and it was amazing to me how much happier they were taking pictures in their own rooms with the things that make them comfortable and the things they love!

ITS OFFICIAL

Today we closed on our new home!! YEAH!!!! We are so excited about this new phase in our lives! I really am looking forward to having a yard and being able to work at making it beautiful! This I'm afraid is going to be really hard for me because honestly every single plant I touch dies! I'm not kidding either, this will be new and different but I am really looking forward to it. I am really really excited too because we have orange tree's in the backyard and this is something I have wanted since moving to California! We wont be moving in until the end of April because we really want to fix it up a little. It was a short sale and hasn't been lived in for a long time so it is pretty dirty and needs some work.

Using the keys for the first time!! I promise Toby is happy about our new house even though his face doesn't show it.
We are getting a fence put up around the pool next week and hopefully then I wont be as nervous about the kids running around outside.

I will post more pictures of the inside later when the inside looks a little better. Hopefully I will remember to get before and after shots of it all.
Brooklyn packed her little Dora suitcase yesterday with a bunch of her favorite things and told me she was ready to move to our new house. I hope the girls transition well!!
