Visit to Utah

We just got back from our week and a half in Utah. Me and the girls drove out and Toby flew out for the last few day's we were there and drove home with us. We had a really good time and the girls were in heaven playing with their cousins non stop was so much fun for them. After being their for almost a week though, Nikell had, had about enough. Every time I would put her in the car to go visit someone else she would start to cry. I think she was just getting a little overstimulated. Poor thing would just tell me she wanted to go home. Brooklyn on the other hand couldn't get enough of it. It was great seeing everyone and we hope it wont be too long before we can go back again!
Of course I have a million pictures so I am just going to add them slowly so as not to go overboard on one post.

This time we stayed at my brother Jeremy and his wife Anji's house. They have two girls that are near Brooklyn and Nikell's age. Afton and Ayden, we just knew they would have a blast together.

These next few pictures include other family members on my side of the family. The second day we were their we had dinner at my sister, Shannon's house it was fun having everyone together (everyone except Denae, Hadly and Toby. Then the next week we went to a place called Monkey island. We were there for like 3 hours, the kids LOVED it!

Stylish Stick Horse!

The other day Brooklyn said she had a surprise for me so she told me to close my eyes. When I opened my eyes she showed me her stick horse that she had dressed up. She said "mommy, doesn't my horsey look so stylish"? I seriously love the fact that she thought to put the princess pj's on the horsey's ears so it stayed. She has such a creative mind and really loves dressing up her stuffed animals and dolls. The other day I peaked into her room while she was choosing what to wear and she was laying out each item of clothing on the ground exactly the way it would look on to see if she liked it or not. Even in this picture she has to style up her pj's by wearing her polka dot leg warmers. Funny kid!

The last two days

The last few day's of our trip were a little rainy. Friday was ok because it was on and off and it was beautiful for most of the morning but Saturday was pretty cold and dreary, the sun would peak out for a few minutes just to tease us a little but for the most part it was pretty cold. San Diego zoo is my favorite zoo! This time we were able to see a lot more things then we did last time I went, it was a fun day! Brooklyn loved the zoo and every time we passed by a cage without looking inside Brooklyn would remind us, she also wanted me to read the names of every animal. The problem is I couldn't even pronounce half of the names seriously can't a kangaroo just be a kangaroo?? why does there have to be these weird names that I have never heard of in my life?? Anyways, Nikell could have cared less, she was happy just sitting in the stroller enjoying the ride. She did like the snakes though (thats my girl:)).
Saturday Toby hung out with us all day. We went to the Wild Animal Park in the morning but when we got there we were pretty freaking cold so we got back in the car and drove to the aquarium. We enjoyed the aquarium but right as soon as we got there the sun came out and it looked beautiful, so, we got back in the car and drove back to the Wild Animal Park. We were there for like 30 minutes and we got down pour. It's funny how that happens! We figures we would just stick it out and we had a fun time. The nice part was the park was empty it was nice having it pretty much to ourselves!
Here we are all caught up just in time for another trip:).

Sea World

The day we went to Sea World was a gorgeous day and not only that but there were NO people. It was so nice! When we got there we had some breakfast and then walked over to see the dolphins. They have an area were you can go up by the water and put your hand in so that when the dolphins swim by you can try and touch them. Well Nikell was with me and we went up to the water and Nikell was trying to reach her hand in as this big dolphin swims by. Before I know it the dolphin moves it's back fin to the side and launches a ton of water right on top of us. Poor Nikell was so un-happy, she was drenched from head to toe and she was bawling her eyes out. I tried to explain to her that the dolphin was just having some fun and she didn't want to here any of it. She pouted for a good 45 minutes and after that she kept saying "that dolphin wanted to play with me, but I don't want to play." I felt bad laughing but it really was so funny! I had to buy her a cheesy sweatshirt that was like a thousand dollars because she was so soaking wet.
The rest of the day was great we loved watching the new dolphin show and made sure to stay far away from the splash zone! When the park was almost closed we went to see and feed the sea lions I bought these fish to have the girls feed to them but Nikell wouldn't touch the slimy things for the life of her. Brooklyn had no problems with it and loved feeding the sea lions. Later that night Brittney watched the kids so that Toby and I could go out to dinner. It was the perfect day!

I am sad though, I think when we got soaked my camera did as well and now it wont turn on. Awesome!
