Happy Halloween!!

On our way to a ward trunk or treat party tonight I stopped in our neighborhood and took a few pictures of the girls in their costumes. They actually were really loving getting their pictures taken I am going to have to have them dress up more often so they smile for me!!

Harvest Party

Brooklyn's preschool had a little Halloween party today, the kids got to wear their Halloween costumes to school. Brooklyn was so excited to go to school and show her teachers her Strawberry Shortcake costume. She just kept saying "mom, I think everyone is just going to love my costume, I can't wait their going to think I look so cute". lol she cracks me up. Nikell was sad that she couldn't go to school with Brooklyn today but we had fun shopping at the mall and I really enjoy my time alone with Nikell. She is such a sweet little girl, she makes me smile! More fun Halloween pictures to come. I hope everyone has a great Halloween weekend!!

Brooklyn randomly just started singing in the car the other day and I noticed that it was a song I had never heard before. She told me she learned it at preschool so I asked her to sing it again for me...

I love her little voice and it is so fun to listen to her sing songs I've never heard before she remembers them so well too. Love it!

Halloween fun and Float wraps

This year was the first time I have been able to decorate my new house for Halloween. It was fun being able to change things up and do some fun new things. I love decorating for the holidays so much and just wish I had more time to do it!

About a week ago we made Halloween sugar cookies which is another fun tradition of ours. We had our friends over to help us decorate the cookies and the kids had a great time frosting and putting sprinkles on their cookies. Mostly they loved dipping their knives in the frosting and putting it straight in their mouths, lol.

This post is packed I know but we also went to the pumpkin patch the other night with our friends, it was much colder this time and it is getting dark earlier now so it wasn't quite as enjoyable as the last time we went but it is alway's fun being with our friends and we had a great time together!

Last but not least, I ordered some pictures of my girls that I took a while ago and had them printed as float wraps. I love love love how they turned out, they make me happy every time I look at them!:)
Yay for Halloween!

Rascal Flats

Last weekend Toby and I decided we wanted to go to the Rascal Flats concert in Sacramento. It was a last minute decision so we hurried and got a babysitter then invited James and Alyssa to come with us. Can I just say I LOVE Rascal Flats! They are so good in concert and we had a blast. It has been a while since Toby and I have been to a concert together I'm thinking we are going to have to do it more often! The concert was outdoor and we had great seats it was such a great night! Sara Evans opened and I really like her she is seriously gorgeous!! Toby claimed that he hates the song "suds in a bucket" But strangely enough he was the only one that new all the words.









They let this little kid up on stage and he was so cute. He started doing cartwheels across the stage it was pretty funny!

S'mores

One of the nights that my family was here we sat out on our back patio and hung out around our fire pit. I haven't had s'mores in sooooo long so I really really enjoyed it! We also heated our pool that day, so me, my mom, Shannon and Toby went for a late night swim. It was a lot of fun the water was so warm it was pretty awesome!!
Surprisingly I didn't take a ton of pictures while my family was here so this is it. But we had a really great week we are all sad they had too go home! Luckily we will be seeing them all again soon!
