GRANDPA'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

Some of my friends are wondering why I didn't call them while I was in Utah. I wish so much I would have been able to hang out with my friends but we were only in Utah county on Sunday for Toby's dad's birthday party and then we went home that night. I am sad I didn't get to see some friends I really miss you all!!

So, Sunday afternoon we had a birthday party for my father in law. We had so much fun, I just wish we could have been there longer! The girls LOVED playing outside with all their cousins, uncle's and aunts. We do really miss seeing them and wish we could be there more!

It was so nice to be there to celebrate a birthday but unfortunately we had to start the long drive home that evening. We drove through the night and got home at 8 in the morning. NOT FUN! We had a great trip though and are excited and looking forward to Lake Powell coming up very soon!

THE BEACH AT BEAR LAKE

This was probably my favorite day of our vacation. I love hanging out at the lake! It is so relaxing and I love that my girls are so happy and good because they have so much going on like, playing in the sand, playing with their cousins, playing in the water, etc. It was a good day and I wish we would have had one more day like this one! Me and my sister found some shovels and buckets at a store in town and they were a hit. The kids spent all day digging in the sand and making castles. We had fun on all the toy's we brought along too. Our favorite, the pontoon boat, wave runners, kayak, raft. Angie even did a little wind surfing. While some of us played in the water others relaxed in the shade. I think we all had a really good time!



I love my family so much. I love that we are all so different yet we can remain so close and have so much fun together. I'm not going to lie, we definitely had some drama the few day's of our vacation and there are times a lot of us wanted to kill one another but the bond that we share is so deep that no matter what differences we may have or conflicts we face with one another we will always be such a strong family continuing to have great times together. The hard times just make us stronger and help us bond even more. I feel so lucky to have such an awesome family!!
