MY FRIEND MEL

I was going through my pictures and came across this one that I added last week but had forgotten to post on my blog. Melanie came into town for a week after New Years and we got a chance to go out to dinner with her the night before she went home. We had such a great time together, just like old times! I miss Mel so much and miss how much fun we all used to have together. Love ya girl and am so glad we had time to hang out! Come back soon!

FIRST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE

For Christmas Brooklyn and Nikell got 5 dollars each from their Great Grandma Cram and Aunt Vicki. On Saturday we went to Target as a family and let the girls pick out something for 5 dollars. We wanted to teach Brooklyn that everything has a price and the thing you want you might not have enough money for. It was a good lesson for her and she had such a fun time trying to pick out her toy. She really wanted a jewlery box but they were to expensive so she decided she would earn more money and get the jewlery box later. She decided to buy some paints and paper. She took her things up to the register and gave the man her money and got some change back. She was so proud of herself and had a big smile on her face after he handed her the bag with her things in it. On the way out to the car Brooklyn was swinging her bag around and skipping along singing "I got my bery own stuff, I got my bery own stuff".


Side note: We have been trying to teach her about money, working and saving. The other day I stopped by the bank and Brooklyn goes "so mom are you going to put some of your money in your big, piggy bank"? I think she's getting the idea.

PERFECTION

My evenings are spent on Photoshop learning as much as I can about this amazing software. At this moment I have a pile of clean clothes piled sky high waiting to be folded and a sink full of dirty dishes. I feel a little overwhelmed with all the information and feel like my brain can't take it all in. I should probably take a break for now and finish the dishes and the clothes now that it's midnight but I do want to post these two photos that I have been having a lot of fun fixing up even more. You might not be able to even tell what I fixed up but I do and it makes me happy to know I actually learned something new today!

A FEW OF LORA

These are the last few that I am going to post of the other day's photo session with my friends. I had a great time playing around with these pictures. I hope I can get better with my photoshop skills but it's slow going. I love learning new things and if anyone has some great advise on how to learn more I would love it!





Misty is my favorite and I had to get these pictures of her. The first one she is showing Lora how she wanted her to pose. I think my next photo shoot should be of Misty because she looks like a pro!

PICS OF JARED

These are a few pictures of Misty's brother, Jared. I need to stop taking so many pictures because it's really hard to look through and edit them all. He looks good in all of them so it's hard for me to delete any!! It's great practice for me though and I have been having so much fun with these pictures!! Now I just need to finish Laura's and I will be done! Did I mention that I love doing this? I get so excited when I get opportunities like this to learn more! Brittney is next on the list to take pictures of... maybe next week sometime!! Can't wait!

EMILY IS A BABE!

I seriously had so much fun taking these pictures! I love that Emily was so cool about being our model. She is beautiful and we all had such a great time! I have some more cute ones of Jared and Lora but for now I will post these and hopefully I can work on the other ones soon!

FUN PHOTO SHOOT

Today Misty and I convinced a few friends to let us take their pictures. We have been wanting to get out and start taking some pictures and it isn't so easy to take pictures of our kid's. They don't really like to hold still for us. I took a ton of pictures but I wanted to post one cuz I love them and I am so excited to edit them all!! I had so much fun and am just so excited about my new lens!!
