Birthday Pictures

I took the girls up to knights ferry one day to take Presly's 1 year pictures and Nikell's 5 year pictures. The day was beautiful and the girls did so great! Here are my beauties!

100 DAY'S OF SCHOOL

Brooklyn's first project at school was to collect 100 of something for the 100th day of school. We decided to do buttons and she did a great job with her cute flower. I am loving this 6 year old so much!! She has her moments where I want to send her to her room for eternity but for the most part she is a very lovable, energetic, thoughtful, sweet girl. She has done so well in Kindergarten this year and has impressed me with how smart she is. She gets 100% on almost every test she takes and she is so well behaved in class and really works hard. Especially with coloring, her favorite! Brooklyn could draw and color and paint all day long. She is my little artist. She is a very responsible girl and she always does what is expected of her (most the time with an ok attitude;)) I love my Brooklyn Noel and can't believe she's half way through kindergarten!!

Look who turned 1!

My little Presly Jane turned 1! I cannot believe how fast this year has gone by! I just got done hanging up her newborn pictures and now I'm adding these pictures of this little toddler. Sometimes I just want to freeze time. I love my littles so much and really want her to stay that way!! Over the last year Presly has changed probably more than either of the other two girls did. Presly went from being this quite, sweet, angel baby to this adorable, loud, fiesty, toddler. We laugh daily at her crazy self. She does this scream now that is ear piercing when she doesn't get her way. Nikell always tends to get the scream out of her because Nikell is always so good and making sure she doesn't climb up the stairs or go into the bathroom and play in the toilette. Presly doesn't like that very much and she lets us all know it. We adore this darling little fiesty baby though. When she is in the mood she gives the best loves and kisses. You have to catch her in the right mood though. She is and always has been my little cuddly baby though. So even through all her feistiness she has a very soft side and she will cuddle with me all day if she has her binki and blanket. Presly had a fun birthday. I took her cake smash pictures which ended up not really turning into much of a cake smash. I thought since she hasn't ever had anything sweet she would have loved the cake and demolished it but she took one little taste and was good. She was way more interested in putting the taffy's in her mouth with the wrapper on. That is one thing you can always see her doing. Crawling around with something sticking out of her mouth like a dog. She usually likes socks but really anything works for her. She doesn't eat it, she just likes to hold it in her mouth. Haha so funny! We also went out to dinner with the douglas family for her birthday. Her birthday party was a combined birthday party with Nikell and I will post that in a few day's. Lots of spoiling going on at this house during these last few months!

Sledding Day

We decided we hadn't had enough snow in Utah so we got all the snow gear and headed up into the hills here in CA for some sledding. It was so much fun! it is so surprising to me how old Brooklyn is becoming and how she has just become so much more brave than ever before. She loves going down the big hills and going fast. She had the best time and it was so fun to watch her smile. Brooklyn has a very similar personality to mine and at times she is stubborn, she likes to in control of everything and know exactly what is going on, and can get a little bit ornery if she doesn't get her way. It was nice to see her relax a little, smile and have a good time the whole day. I know when she is older these things about her personality will be a good thing [except for the ornery part]. But for now she has been challenging at times. Nikell had a good time sledding but she is not quite the dare devil that Brooklyn is. After Toby took her down a hill that was a little big for her with a few jumps she kind of freaked out. She likes to stick to the little hills and to go down with mommy. Presly really didn't like any of it except when she went down with me on the really little hills. She seemed happy and content just sitting in the snow playing with it. After sledding we found a place with freshly made apple cider to finish off the day. Lots of fun!

Jazz/Hip Hop

Brooklyn and Nikell have been taking a jazz/hiphop class at 5678 this year. It is so great having them both in the same class. They look so cute out there dancing together! For some reason they both don't seem to love it as much as they love Ballet but it might be because it is a little bit harder with faster music and it is not as easy to keep up. They both do a great job and they are in they have learned the dance they will be performing for their recital. Their costumes are so cute this year and they do their dance so good. I love these girls and love watching them shake their little booties!
