NIGHT OUT WITH MY BABE

This weekend Toby had to go out to San Fransisco for a doctor's training course that his company puts together a couple times a year. I have gone with him before for another one in San Fran and one in Nappa. I even met him down in San Diego one time with some friends. It's always a lot of fun to spend the evenings together when he isn't working or with doctors. And during the day it's nice to be able to shop, get a pedicure or just relax.
This time though, we didn't think it would be possible for me to go because we have two babies and it would probably be harder work then it would be worth. Toby braught up the idea of maybe getting some friends to watch the kid's over night so we could have a little time together alone. As much as I really wanted to go I wasnt sure that I fealt comfortable putting friends who already have their own kid's, out like that. But because it really has been so long since Toby and I have had alone time and because our 5 year anniversary is coming up and we didnt think we would have another chance to get away, I called two of my friends just to see what they thought about the whole thing.
All I have to say is I have the best friends in the whole world. Misty and Loralee were seriously so awesome when I called them. Misty was right away excited about having Brooklyn over for a little sleep over. And Loralee pretty much made me make the decision to go even when I told her I still wasn't sure. She said "Tami, your going and I don't want to hear another thing about it. The decision is already made, get Toby on the phone...." What can I say my friends really are the greatest and it really shows me how much they love me when they support me like they do.
I know I am kind of a baby but it really is hard for me to ask people for help. It might be because I havent ever had family around to help it's always just been Toby and I. So I am so used to doing everything with just him.
So the day I was supposed to leave I almost backed out and I was actually in the middle of texting Misty to tell her not to worry about it when I suddenly got a text from her saying, "Dylen is so excited to have Brooklyn sleep over." I really am so blessed to have such wonderful friends. They really are my family away from home. Thanks Mist and Loralee I love you guys!!

Toby and I had such an awesome time together. We went to a Giants baseball game that night and it was so nice just to be able to really enjoy each other without any distractions. My husband really is so dang cute and he makes me laugh so much! I love being able to do things together that we both really enjoy. I really just didnt want the night to end. After the game Toby got us a limo to take back to the hotel. I was so excited cuz I have never been in a limo before. It is kind of funny to watch people look at you while you drive by.
The next day Toby had to work pretty much the whole time but I was in heaven. The hotel is located right in the middle of union square right where all the incredible shopping is. Seriously, it's any girl's heaven right there. I also was able to get a pedicure and have lunch at a thai place that is actually in the hotel we stayed at.
It was a lot of fun but I was very anxious to get home to releave my friends from my children. Even though they are the sweetest babies I know it's always different when it isn't your own kid, Ya know?? (Brooklyn can be a little fiesty sometimes.) Later on that night I was putting Brooklyn to bed and she was asking for Max and Dylen. I think she really wanted them there to have another sleep over. She had such a good time and it is so nice that she feels so comfortable with Misty and her family.

The view from outside our hotel room window. We were on the 17th floor with huge windows all around. It was gorgeous but a little scary. We had an earthquake that night but it was small and we barely noticed.

Giants vs Pirates (we lost:()
In the limo on the way back to the hotel. It was a first for me and it was a lot of fun.

Thanks babe for hanging out with me for the night. I love your guts!!!

PUMP IT UP AND CAMPFIRE

I am a little behind on my posts because I havent had much time. A few day's ago Brooklyn, Nikell and I met our good friends at this place called Pump it up, that just opened up near our home. We had such a good time. It was a lot of fun to hang out with my friends. And the girl's loved all the fun thing's that they had there to play on.

Later that evening we went to a lake near our home and built a fire and had hot dog's and s'mores with our friends Misty and Ryan. It was so much fun. It really made me miss being home and going up American Fork canyon to camp and have a fire with friends. It is definatly something we will do more often now that I'm not pregnant anymore. And I have more energy. Brooklyn and Nikell both loved it. We braught along our dog Bailey. Brooklyn had so much fun watching Bailey swim in the lake. It was such a nice evening and we even got in a little frisbe.

I love love love these pictures of Max!!! He is such a little cutie.

OLD SACRAMENTO

So I know I have been posting a lot lately. We have just been going, going, going. On Labor Day Toby had one surgery that he had to go to, so after that me and the girl's drove up and picked him up in Stockton at one of his hospitals. (about an hour away from where we live) Then we drove up to Sacramento. (about 45mn from there). They have this place downtown that still looks like it did durning the old day's. But for Labor Day they braught in a ton of dirt and they had wagons and people all dressed up in clothes that they wore during the gold rush. They even had a few tent's that where set up that had the Mormon Batalion. It was really fun and Brooklyn loved all the horses. After that we went to eat at the Cheesecake Factory. It was a really fun day.

SUCH A FUN BIRTHDAY!!

There is nothing better than getting packages in the mail from both grandparents on the same day!! Brooklyn was more excited than I have ever seen her today when her packages arrived from Grandma and Grandpa Branch and Grandma and Grandpa Goeckeritz. THanks so much all of you for the cute gifts as you can see from the pictures she absalutely loved everything! (And as you can see she is still wearing her tutu.) Such a fun Birthday for little bing.

She loved her little happy birthday bear and sunglasses. Thanks Grandma Goeckeritz for the cute book, we are excited to read it too her. Brooklyn loves reading books before she goes to bed and this one is so sweet!

You can tell by Brooklyn's face that she was so excited with all her fun gifts. She tried to put on both ears the crown and the hat grandma made at the same time. It wasn't really working out but she loves them all so much. And I am so excited about the all the extra's. Thank's mom!

Grandma Branch snuck in a little something for Nikell. Thanks mom the little rattle socks were a hit.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BING!!

Our little Brooklyn turned two today. I can't believe how much she has grown in 1 year. I was looking back to some pictures of her first birthday and I was amazed at how little she was. She was still a baby, and now she is a sweet little girl!!
Brooklyn we love you so much and are so so glad that we are blessed with such a sweet little angel. We love watching you experiance new things and love the way you just seem to really enjoy each new day. You have so many people who love and care about you and I hope you always remember what a blessing you are in all of our lives. Happy Birthday we love you!!!
