American Girl Doll Birthday Fun

Back in February when we went out to the American Girl Doll store in Palo Alto for Nikell and Kaiya's birthday Brooklyn made it clear that is what she really wanted to do for her birthday.  In order for me to keep it a surprise I may have had to tell a little white lie.  She thought we were going to go to Toys r us with one friend.  Little did she know I had planned the whole thing with her two friends mom's Misty and Megan to have all three of the girls, Brooklyn, Jaydin and Dylens birthdays together.
We picked the girls up at school and Brooklyn thought we were headed to the airport to pick up family (something we were planning on doing later that night).  We met at TOGOs with her friends and they were all so excited about what we were going to do.  We got them matching outfits and headed out to Palo Alto for the day.
We had so much fun partying in the party room and shopping in the store.  Brooklyn and Nikell even had their dolls hair done at the doll hair salon.
Brooklyn had a really fun birthday and was very very happy!  After the party we went to pick up Grandma Goeckeritz, Erika, Jake, Tierani and Hudson from the airport.  We also met daddy and Presly an we all went to a birthday dinner at Black Angus.  Brooklyn wanted steak for dinner:).  I'm pretty sure this kid is a tiny bit spoiled but as long as she shows me that cute smile and tells me thank you then Toby and I are happy to do these things every once in a while.  Love my cute Brooklyn and I can't believe she is 8!!!
