Our newest little girl.

Well here I am 7 months late in posting this but it has been a busy 7 months and I'm just holding on tight enjoying this ride.  Having 4 girls is such an amazing blessing and it is also very busy and a little bit crazy.  Looking at these pictures takes me back to this amazing day when I got to hold me sweet angel baby Sloane Elise for the first time.
When I was about a week away from my due date my dr gave me the ok to get induced.  I was measuring a little big and since I have babies so quickly he wanted to be sure we were all at the hospital for her arrival.  He made our induction appointment on June 4, 2015 at 7 AM.  We were excited and ready but a little sleepy having to get up so early.  When we got to the hospital we unfortunately we had to wait for like 2 hrs to even see the dr so that entire time I was all hooked up and was getting lots and lots of liquids making it so I was nice and swollen after the fact. lol
My parents came out to help us with our kids which was a HUGE blessing because our poor Brooklyn came down with a really really bad cough that actually turned into pnemonia the night before we had Sloane.  I was so worried about her but I was much more at ease knowing my parents were taking good care of her.
After waiting at the hospital for a few hrs Dr. Pfeffer finally made an appearance.  They first gave me an epidural and then they started me on pit.  At first it was a little slower then I thought it would be but when they gave me more pit it really went quick.  I think my epidural started wearing off a little so I started to feel a lot more than I had in the past.  I could definitely feel things a lot more but it wasn't unbearable it just made me appreciate drugs!  So with most of my babies the staff never really takes me seriously when I say "uh I feel a lot of pressure I think its close"  lol then they check and they all of a sudden are in a huge hurry.  They quickly got things ready and then I pushed one time and there she was.  The dr startled me a little when he asked me to reach down and pull out my baby.  I LOVED it!  Such a sweet moment to be able to pull my baby out and lay her right on my chest.  She is perfect and I was overcome with love for her.
Something I didn't really remember until this labor is I shake a lot when I am in labor, whether it is from the epidural or it is from nerves my body shakes pretty violently and I really hate it.  This time my amazing, sweet husband came and laid over me and for some reason the pressure from him laying on me and his closeness and warmth made all my shaking go away.  Unfortunately every time he gets up I shake again. lol  I love my husband and I'm so grateful for his willingness to help me with anything I may need even if its his body pressure during labor.:)

After a few hours of enjoying our sweet baby Toby went home to watch the girls so my parents could come meet Sloane.  Brooklyn wasn't doing well so Toby decided to sleep at home with her that night so it was just me and Sloane that night at the hospital.  Poor Sloane swallowed some amniotic fluid so she was choking up some gross yellow fluid all night and I felt so sad for her.  It was a rough night because I think it was causing her pain and I was worried about her choking.  I just held her all night and luckily slowly she started to do it less and less.  Although she still did choked a little even the first few months after her birth.  She finally stopped so I was happy about that.
The next day Toby took Brooklyn to the dr and she had to get steroid injections and she had to start on a breathing treatment.  While Toby took her to the dr my parents brought Nikell and Presly to meet their sister.  They fell in love with her and were so excited to see her.  I felt so sad that Brooklyn wasn't able to meet her, it wasn't the same without her.  It was also weird not having Toby at the hospital with me at all.  I was so glad when they finally let me go home so I we could all be together again.  Poor Brooklyn couldn't be by her at all and had to wear a mask all the time.  It was so hard for her to not be able to hold her and I felt so sad for her.

The things they say

Wow having a fourth baby has pretty much made it so I have no free time at all to update our blog.  Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining at all.  Little miss Sloane is so darling and I love her to death.  I just wish I could get caught up with these little details in my life.
I have to do a post on our Presly Jane tonight though.  This little three year old truly is like no other.  She is the funniest kid, seriously cracking us all up constantly.  I wish I had a video on her daily just so I could hold onto all the funny things she does and say's.  Some of the things I want to remember that she say's is for one, I love it when she calls tomorrow, tomoruh (too-mar-uh) it is so cute and she says it a lot.  I never want to correct her.  I also love that she uses Sunday as everyday of the week.  Like she will ask me when we are going to the park or to the store or to nastics (gymnastics) and she'll say "are we going on sunday? huh?"  or she'll be telling someone something that happened and she will say "on sunday I fell on my bike and got hurt"  or "on Sunday we are going to a hotel"  She loves hotel's and always asks to go to a hotel.  Another thing I love is when she says huh after she asks a question.  She asks the question and then before you can even start to answer she will say "huh?" like "mom, whats that noise.. huh?"  it makes me laugh every time because of the way she says it and the face she gives me with her scrunched up nose.  Another one of my favorite things she says is when she's introducing herself like when she is wearing a princess dress and she wants to say introducing princess presly, instead she say's "congratulations princess presly!!" she fully thinks she is saying the right word and it is so funny.  Lately if she is talking to someone and she's getting impatient with them she says "sheesh".  Like the other night we are reading scriptures and Toby was trying to help her with the words and she goes "I got it, I got it dad!!! (pause.. then under her breath) Sheesh!!"  lol love that one!  Another great one is the other day Nikell and Presly went up to clean their rooms and I asked Nikell if she had finished and she said no so I asked Presly if she was done and she said "yes mom, I'm done, I cleaned my room, (then with a bragging tone she goes) yep, I'm a child of God!!"  Not sure how that goes together but in her little mind because she's a child of God she was able to clean her room faster than Nikell. lol  The other day I took her into a store to look for a present for her little friend Alexis and Nikell said "Presly look how cute this little dog is"  Presly looks at the dog and with huge eyes and a very excited and dramatic voice she goes "oh. my. heck!!"  the two ladies at the front desk died laughing.  It really sounded so funny!
I'm sure more will come to me but thats all I can think of right now.

I do love when she comes into our room in the morning and snuggles with me, I love it when she says "mom, I lub you!"  I love that she is picky about when she gives out kisses but when she does I know she really wants to.  I love how feisty she is but deep down she is really sweet!  I love how when she is telling a story about when someone else is talking she actually tries to change her voice like theres to give you the full affect of what they sounded like.  Like the other day I took her to lunch after preschool and I asked her if she played at the park at Ms Shirleys and she said "no"  and I said why not?  She goes in a really high voice pretending to ms shirley, "no! paper work first!" lol
Whenever I take the girls to gymnastics or horse riding she asks me if she can do nastics or ride her pink horse named sparkles.  When I say not until your older she say's "when I'm bigger and bigger?"  and now that Sloane is born she things she is bigger now so now she will say "but mom I'm bigger!"
I guess thats all for now but i'm sure in a second I will think of more that this crazy little girl does and says.  LOVE her!!!

Im adding to this list a few weeks later because I remember more...  I love that Presly calls Brooklyn and Nikell her girls.  Whenever I tell her to get her shoes on she says "we going to get my girls?"  or a few times I will yell upstairs to her to ask her what she is doing and she says "jus (just)  playing in my girls room."  Its adorable.
Sometimes when she is talking and she is trying to think of what to say next she will say for example, "I went to the store.. um.. um..um, I went to the store and um um (then she sometimes takes a big breath and grins and then starts over) I went to the store and and and and mommy got me a a a treat!" Its always such an accomplishment when she finally gets it all out lol.  Sort of like a little stutter haha She is getting better and not doing it as much but its pretty funny.
