Del Osso Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch a few times this month.  This is the first time we went.  A little boy in Nikell's preschool class is part of the Del Osso family and he gave all of his preschool class a free day into the pumpkin patch.  We went with our friends The Kroutals.  It was so nice because not only was it a beautiful night but there was hardly anyone there.
I took Brooklyn's 6 year old pictures while we were there and they turned out pretty cute.  She was a good sport and was very good for me while I got some cute pictures of her.
My girls love their friends Jaydin and Kaiya.  Nikell and Kaiya are the best of friends!  They love each other and have so much fun together.  Not only that but they look and act so much a like and their birthday's are only a week apart from each other.  Megan and I have decided that they must have been destined to be friends, I think they found each other before this life.  They are such sweet little friends!

We love our friends and have so much fun with them!

Presly 8 months old

The other day I was taking pictures of Presly for her turning 8 months and we were outside.  All of a sudden our dog Bailey came over and started to sniff her and lick her.  She flipped out and started crying and shaking.  It was so sad (but a tiny bit funny).  Every time Bailey would even come close to her she would freak out again.  So after pictures I just sat outside with Presly and had Bailey come sit by us.  I wanted her to get more used to her so she wouldn't be as afraid.  Nikell has always been afraid of Bailey and screamed histericly when she comes around and I think it's because I never really took Nikell around her a lot when she was a baby and she was not used to her at all.  Even now she doesn't like it when Bailey is around until she warms up to her.  So every so often I take Presly by the door and let her check out Bailey.  She is fascinated with her and seems to really be liking her more which is good.  I ask her where the doggy is and she always turns her head towards the door, its pretty cute.

Ballet

The girls have started taking ballet at another dance studio, Julines school of dance.  It is a studio that teaches more classical ballet and they are great if you want your child to grow up and be a ballerina professionally.  Nikell has had a lot of interest in ballet and has told me she really wants to do it when she gets bigger to.  She loved the nutcracker last December and said she really wanted to do that.  So they both take ballet once a week at this new place.  They still take jazz at 5678 and love that too.  It is fun for them to have both classes and have a lot of fun with them both.  They also love seeing their friends abby and livvy at ballet and its fun having them in their classes with them.

Lake Tahoe

Toby had the weekend off so we decided to take the opportunity and go up to Lake Tahoe.  Toby found a great deal on a motel/hotel/ghetto;).  It was definitely a step down from places we usually stay.  It was ok though.  It had a lot of room and the girls seemed happy with it, especially the pool.  It was also nice because the location was great.  Right next to shopping which is always a plus for me.
We had a lot of fun and did a ton of stuff.  We played tennis and went on a family bike ride and on our ride we found a swing set that was right on the lake the girls had fun swinging for a while and then we had lunch at a little place right there as well.  It was really nice and we all had a great time.  Brooklyn had a little melt down because she didn't want to share the bike that hooked onto Toby's bike.  She definitely has attitude problems at times and we are trying to work through it.  She is happy if she gets her way but the second she doesn't she is very mad and ornery.   She did end up trying to cheer up and that was nice.
We went fishing at a trout pond and had an interesting experience with the guy who owned it.  It seemed as if his wife or girlfriend was under the influence of something and got pretty upset at the man.    She was yelling and hitting him.  Toby and I packed up and got out of there as soon as we could.  The girls didn't seem to notice anything at all.
We then swam for a bit and then got ready to go out for dinner.  We took the girls to their first experience of fine dining.  The restaurant was so nice and it was over looking the river.  The girls were trying to be polite and they loved how fancy everything was.  It was a very fun night.  The next day they swam while I shopped and then we went to pizza for lunch and went miniature golfing and both girls jumped on this trampoline thing that pops you really high so you can do flips and stuff.  Brooklyn was doing back flips and loving it.  Nikell however did not want to jump high at all she was very apprehensive and told the guy she just wanted to jump little. :)  So cute!

It was a fun trip something we will have to do again soon!
