We love visitors!

Last week we had family come out to stay with us for a few days. We can't tell Brooklyn and Nikell that their cousins are coming until the actual day when they come because that's all we will hear about every second of every day before they get here. They LOVE having their cousins come out to play and are on cloud nine the entire time they are at our house. Toby's brother Quinn and his family came and they have two daughters, Taitum and Tess that Brooklyn and Nikell love playing with. The girls had so much fun together, swimming, playing dress up and playing games on the wii. Brooklyn, Taitum and Tess shared a room at night too and Brooklyn seriously loved having her cousins in her room with her.
One of the nights they were out here we got Brittney to babysit the girls for us and Toby, Me, Quinn, Jamie, Avery, Brooks and Chandler went out to the A's baseball game in Oakland. A good friend of ours has season tickets and not only that but he has a full on indoor suite that is reserved for him and his family every year. He was nice enough to let us tag along with him when he took the young men from his ward to the game. Avery, Brooks and Chandler looked like they really enjoyed it. I don't think they looked up from the game the whole time. They are really into baseball and I think it was fun for them.
We always love having family and friends come stay with us, it really gives us some one on one time together and we get to know each other so much more. I had so much fun with all of them and I am so happy that they came!!

Random

I have a few pictures that I noticed that I hadn't added to the blog. One of them is of Nikell in her cute little gymnastics class. She is the only child in her class and so she gets a private lesson every week:). She loves her teacher and is gets so excited when its gymnastics day. I am amazed at how well she does on the trampoline and bars she is so strong and is doing really well.

The other pictures are just random, I did two cute girls hair and make up for prom last week and that was really fun. One of the girls is Jessica Remington, she is a good friend and was in our last ward. The others are of the girls sleeping. I love sleeping pictures!

Sweet Moments!

Last week Misty had her baby! I went to the hospital to meet him and fell in love! He is so sweet and it was so fun being able to take my camera and capture a few shots of Misty and her family enjoying little Ryder for the first time. I love this family and it is so fun having Ryder here finally!:))

Swimming

It seems too cold to already be starting swim lessons but it is definitely that time of year again. Brooklyn and Nikell's swimming teacher Barbara is very hard to get lessons through. She has been doing it for so many years now and let me just say it is no easy task getting on her swimming lesson schedule. She picks one day a year and that one day is the day she schedules her whole entire summer. Toby and I had three phones between him and I, we started calling at the appointed time and continued to call over and over until we finally got through which was two hours later. A few times the phone would start ringing and it would ring about 5 times (getting our hopes up big time) and then it would switch to a busy signal. Needless to say we were both so so happy when we finally heard a voice on the other end.

The girls love Barbara and are so happy to be back in the water. They are both doing great! Today it started raining during their lessons luckily Barbara's pool is very warm, I wanted to climb in there with them! It will be fun to start swimming in our pool soon.

Brooklyn got this new aerial swimming suit from Brittany. She seriously loves it and wants to wear it every single day even when she isn't swimming. Not sure how I feel about that;)


Before Nikell had her turn she was watching Brooklyn's every move. I'm not sure if she was nervous or what but she didn't look away once through Brooklyn's whole lesson.

My Babies

About a month ago when I was visiting Utah I bought these really cute, big frames. At the time I didn’t haven anything in mind for them but I always am in search for cute frames so when I got home they have just kind of sat there. So the other day I decided to take my two little girls out and do a mini photo shoot with them since I don’t have very many pictures of them together. So on our way to gymnastics one day I took like 15 mn and got my girls ready (usually it takes me like an hour before I take their pictures but I didn’t have the time). We pulled off the road somewhere along our way and literally took pictures for like 15 minutes. I just let the girls play in the grass and tickle each other and be silly and it was the easiest photo session I have done with them. I love my girls so much and feel so blessed to be their mom!!

Nikki- "my head hurts really, really bad"

Me- "oh, I'm sorry baby, show me where"

Nikki- "right here... I need to go to the doctor"

Me- "What do you think the doctor will do for you"

Nikki- "The doctor will give me wots and wots of treats"
