First time for everything

Today Toby and I could hear the girls giggling, but we couldn't see them. I walked toward the giggling and found Brooklyn and Nikell here...
They had a pillow under them and a blanket over them with the lid almost shut. Perfect little bed!

SWIMMING WITH BARBARA

All summer we have been looking forward to swim lessons with Barbara. Brooklyn went to her last year and loved it and did so well. This year we put Nikell in as well and she loves it and does such a good job. Nikell is such a sweet heart and Barbara loves her! Nikell is so polite and always says "thank you' and "ok, sure". she is pretty dang cute and it makes me happy that she is such a polite little girl. Brooklyn is doing such a awesome job swimming! Barabara commented the other day that she has a such a beautiful stroke and it made Brooklyn's day. It makes her happy knowing she is doing a good job and it keeps her motivated to get better. I guess she is kind of like her mom that way:).

BEAUTIFUL CHILD OF MINE

I took Nikell's 2 year old pictures a couple of weeks ago and she seriously did so good. I almost feel like there are too many cute pictures making it really hard to stop editing. Nikell really was so sweet while I was taking her pictures and she was so cooperative. Every time I would tell her to pose a certain way she would freeze exactly how I said until I was finished. She was so happy and good and it made this so fun! I hope you all enjoy these pictures as much as I do. I am her mom so of course I think she is beautiful but in looking at some of these I am a little surprised she's mine. The dark brown eyes and beautiful curly hair she definitely did not get from me. I love this little girl so much!!

WATER PARK AND TWIN GIRLS

My cute friend Amy had her twin baby girls about a week ago. Amy and the girls are doing really well and are all very healthy. A few day's ago we went to the park with Tate and Troy so Tate could get out and play with us. We had a really fun time at the water park. It has been a while since we have been over there it seems like we haven't gone as much this summer which is funny because now we live even closer to it. The kids had fun playing in the water and running around. It was pretty funny though, when we showed up to the park the water fountains had suds coming out of them. The kids loved the bubbles but we found out from the maintenance man that someone was trying to be funny and pored suds into the filters or something and thats what was causing all the bubbles. Apparently it really isn't good for the filters and so they had to turn of the water and clean them all out. Luckily they waited to do this until after we had gone home. I thought it was pretty funny that someone thought to do that. In fact that is something I would have tried doing in high school with my friends.

The twins are darling and I am so excited for Troy, Amy and Tate!!

REUNION

I feel like I haven't posted anything for a little while. I'm slacking on the blog!

Toby and I have some really good friends that we haven't seen in way too long. Last night Alyssa and I decided to surprise the guys and get reservations at a favorite one of our favorite places, Wine and Roses. Both Toby and James were on call so Alyssa and I were afraid that something might come up and we might not be able to do it. Luckily though one of Toby's surgeries ended just in time so our surprise worked out great! Alyssa also wanted me to take some pictures of her and James since they hadn't had nice ones taken in a while. So, before our yummy dinner we had a little photo session. It was really fun and it made me really miss having them here to hang out with more! I promised I would post a few pictures for Alyssa today so here is a little preview of our night.

I had Alyssa take a few shots of Toby and I and she did a great job. The grounds at Wine and Roses is GORGEOUS I want to go there again and take some more pictures!
