DISNEYLAND

This is such a fun post for me because I get to relive my little vacation all over again by looking at all of the pictures.
On Tuesday I took the girls down to southern California for a couple of day's to hang out at Disneyland and California Adventure. Misty and her family came down the same time and I brought along Brittney to help me with the girls and to hang out with me. I was a little nervous that this trip would be hard on the girls and that they would be tired and ornery a lot of the time. I have to say it was nothing like I thought it would be. I had the time of my life down there and I am pretty sure the girls did too. The last time I went to Disneyland was when I was like 8 years old or something. I didn't realize it was as much fun as it really is. I LOVED it and am so very excited to go back a lot more. This trip was so much fun that I almost didn't want to come home.
Get ready for a ton of pictures!
Brooklyn loved Tinkerbell!
And Fawn

Brittney and me
Misty and me
Tuckered out kids, Max and Nikki
We had lunch at the Blue Bayou a restaurant that is in the Pirates of The Caribbean ride. It was so nice and we were actually tag along's at this lunch. Misty made reservations for her family months in advance and they were nice enough to let us join them. It was so fun!
My kids have never really been big fans of sleeping in their stroller but this trip they both got so tired that they fell asleep no problem.
aaarrrrgh!
My cute friend misty mist
In Toon Town we had a lot of fun running around playing on things like this car.

And this giant watermelon.
I think this is Goofy's house.
I think this piano is so dang cute.
Nikki was nervous to slide down by her self.
After she did it once she wanted to do it over and over again. She loves the slide!
Teacups.
Brooklyn loved the Carousel, we went on it too many times to count.
Nikell wasn't as happy about the carousel as Brooklyn was. Whenever I went to put her on she would start to cry. Poor thing.
The train
Cinderella was our favorite Princess!! She was so cute with Dylen and Brooklyn and was saying the cutest things to them. She asked Dylen, "Oh your hair is so pretty did your ferry God Mother do it?? My ferry God Mother did my hair today too". Then she told them both that Tinkerbell was one of her very best friends and she asked them if it was ok if she told Tinkerbell hi for them. Brooklyn and Dylen loved her.

Snow white

Brooklyn was full of things to say.
Smelling flowers with Sleeping Beauty.

Waiting in line to see the princesses wasn't so bad. They were having so much fun jumping off this little ledge.

Yay for Mickey Mouse!
And Pluto
Sorry the pictures are a little out of order. This was the first day of our Disneyland trip. More pictures to come!

THE DANCE

Well here it is friends, the movie you've all been waiting for. I am ok posting this because you can't really see me at all, I am in the back most the time. Thanks to my friend Misty's mom we snuck a video camera in during the recital. I really had so much fun and will most definitely do it again next year! Yay for cheesy costumes and 80's music, yay for making new friends and busting some sweet moves, last but not least yay for losing 30 lbs and getting my big butt into shape!

Katie, Serilla, me, Misty
I hate to say it but our gangster face really sucks. I love that we try though! Love ya friend!!

DRESS REHEARSAL

This weekend will be our dance recital. There will be one on Friday night and 2 on Saturday. We had our dress rehearsal a few day's ago and it was a lot of fun. I love watching all the other dances with the little girls. I would be happy to just sit there all day and watch everyone perform their dances. The youngest girls are by far the cutest and they seriously make me smile. Our group is considered the old lady group and everyone cheers so dang loud for us. Its pretty funny and we have a great time. So here are a few pictures that we took after we danced. Misty has video of the dance and I am not sure if I am brave enough to post it for all. We shall see.

PROM

I need to take some time and post some things but don't really have the time tonight. But I am sick of looking at these same thing on my blog so here are a few pictures of miss Britney prom night. She asked me to do her hair and makeup and it was so much fun. It was also really crazy to remember back when I was going to the dances. It seems like not to long ago that I was right were she is. Although Brittney is a lot more mature than I was at her age. Anyways she looked so beautiful and I was happy to be a part of her senior prom!

FUNNEST PARTY EVER!

Max had his second birthday party last night. I have to say that it was the funnest party I have been to since I was like 10 years old. I am not even exaggerating at all either. Max is really into music and guitars. So Misty had a friend make a stage for Max's rock'n'roll birthday party. She made the cute curtain on it too! We hung out all night on the stage singing and dancing. It was pretty awesome!
So Happy Birthday Max! And thanks Mist for the coolest birthday party ever!
This is the band.
This is Misty's cute cousin. I love the purple wig!!

Work it girl!!

I love this little guy so dang much. Look at how he is standing, He already has the whole rock n roll stance down. He was a crack up the whole night jammin to the music and playing his air guitar.

Brooklyn was quite the singer.
Oh ya and this is me, Misty and Ricki performed the awesome song by Tiffany "I think were alone now". It was the hilight of the night I'm sure for most. lol

Misty's mom made the cutest guitar cake ever. Everything really was so perfect!
I seriously love Max's tatoos. He seriously looks like a rockstar if you ask me!
Lorilee came by a little later and we had to get our groove on again.

Such a fun night. Can we do it again??

PICTURE DAY

A friend in our ward is doing a little Mother's Day project. She is taking pictures of Mothers and daughters for this little thing she is doing. I was so excited to be able to have some pictures taken of me and the girls. So it worked out really great for me. I am glad I was able to help her with her project but seriously I think I got the better end of it. I got really great pictures free of charge!!
These are the ones she took with her camera...

These are some she took with my camera...

And these are some I took at home cuz the girls were cracking me up!

This is the story of our lives... Brooklyn and Nikell laughing and loving each other. They feed of each other and they get laughing so hard.
Then Brooklyn gets a little over the top excited and Nikell gets a little bit feisty and does this...
Then they kiss and make up.
And it starts all over again. Yes, it's a fun little cycle!

Misty had some pictures taken that day too. I had to post one because I think it is darling! Seriously aren't they so dang cute?!

ASPARAGUS FESTIVAL

On Saturday the girls and I met Toby at one of the hospitals that he works at. He was on call and working in the morning but it looked like he was going to have some time later on in the day. We picked him up and went over to the Asparagus Festival that was going on near by. We had a really great time walking around and watching all the crazies that were there. After walking around for a little while we decided to find somewhere to sit and eat. They had the group Star Ship were playing. I don't know if anyone knows who they are but I was sitting there listening when all the sudden I started realizing I knew all the songs they were singing. They did such a good job and I seriously love some of their songs and didn't even realize it. Well we enjoyed sitting there dancing and singing. We also had some really yummy food, Asparagus pasta, yummy cheeseburgers and fries, chocolate covered frozen fruit, and funnel cake. Yes I know, we ate a ton. But it was way yummy!! Anyways it was a really fun evening and we really enjoyed hanging out together.
There were some fun little rides and we let Brooklyn go on a few. She loved the little cars. I think it freaked her out a little bit but you could tell she was trying to be tough. She is so dang cute!

And her favorite... the swings

Nikki was a little feisty all day but she really enjoyed the music and she clapped her hands right along with the band.
Brooklyn was dancing and singing so loud. It was so funny.

Last year when we went to the festival we went with Misty and Ryan. We had a ton of fun by the way and we will have to do it again next year!! But as Misty and I were walking around looking at all the little things you can buy. We found this cute little place that makes and sells children's quiet books. They are sooooo cute and so I had to get one last year and I got another one this year. I will add their website to my fav's list.
This is Starship. I have added some of their songs to my play list. They did a really good job we really enjoyed listening to them play!

Yay for fun times at the Aparagus Festival!!
