Long Beach

2 weekends ago we packed up the car and headed to Southern California.  We planned this trip with my brother Jeremy his family and we had been looking forward to it for a long time!  The girls had worked hard in order to go to Disneyland.  Brooklyn had to give up her baby blanket and Nikell had to stop sucking her middle fingers.  They both held up their end of the bargain (Nikell still needs to be reminded every once in a while).

So we left on Friday at about 5 and got down there just in time to go to bed.  Brittney came along to help us all with the kids and it was so nice having an extra hand!  The first day we went to Long Beach and toured the ship the Queen Mary.  Brooklyn was not having a very good time.  All she wanted to do was go to the aquarium and see her cousins (they hadn't arrived yet).  So we found a little time out spot on the ship and I'm sure everyone around thought I was the meanest mom ever.  But, really, she was being so naughty!  After our not so fun time on the ship ;).  We headed over the the Long Beach Aquarium.  Jeremy and Anji met us there with their four kids, Afton, Ayden, Jack and Jordyn.  Finally our kids were happy!  It was such a great day and the kids had a blast!  Later on we got in the pool at our hotel which was even better then the aquarium.  The kids were having so much fun together.  Presly got in the pool for her first time and was so happy.  I was actually really surprised she liked it so much.  The water was pretty cold but she was smiling the whole time.  After that we got the kids and Brittney some pizza and Jer, Anj, Toby and I took the babies out to dinner while Brittney watched the kids.  It was awesome!
