4th of July

We usually have a pool party at our house on the 4th of July but because our pool is still under construction we couldn't do it this year.  Amy and Troy Douglas decided to have a party at their house instead which was way nice of them.  We had a great time at their house and the kids had a blast swimming and playing on their awesome play structure and in their amazing play house.
This year the fireworks were done back over at Mistlin Sports Park.  We watched them from Parkview elementary and we were very happy that we didn't get drenched by the sprinklers that seemed to be making their way around the school.  It was a really fun night and we ended it all with our own little firework show like we normally do.  It felt strange to switch things up from what we are used too but it was still a lot of fun with great friends!
